Today I am officially beginning “Seeking F.I.R.E.”. For those that don’t know, the acronym F.I.R.E. stands for Financial Independence, Retire Early. I am 44-years-old. Retiring early may be out of the cards, but… BUT… it is never too late for financial independence!

The tools I am using for this journey are going to be hard work, expanding my current client base, selling off all of the unused, dust-gathering items I have, and trading. Most of this is nothing new. Some of this has not worked well for me before (selling items).

Trading is not new to me in that I started back in 2019. However, trying to make it more of an active part of my financial growth versus a passive income stream is. Before I bought some stocks or ETFs and held them until I gained a certain amount of growth. I still have a portfolio that I am going to continue doing long-term investing with but it will not be the focus of this.

For the trading, I am using Webull (the link will earn me free stocks). I have the ability to trade stocks, ETFs, Crypto, and Options on this platform. I have not done well with Cryptos in the past so I will probably continue to stay away from them. I am limited on my Options abilities in that I can only trade Cash-Secured Puts and Covered Calls. Also, I only have a cash account so my available balance is all I get.

My goal is to update this daily, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) since that is when the stock market is open. I may do other updates as appropriate.
