It’s barely been a week and I feel like I’m being bombarded with articles, comments and videos about how Trump being our next president means the end of everything. Well, maybe I’m the first to say this…NOTHING IS GOING TO END! Nobody died when Obama got elected (TWICE!!). Yes, things changed, some good and some bad, depending on your perspective.

Trump was not my first choice. Maybe not even my second choice but guess what? He won and now we need to respect that. We need to work together, as a country, to become a better place. Hopefully the leadership, both new and old, will help us get there. If not, there’s another election next year and the year after that and the year after that and so on. When we lose the right, honor and privilege of choosing our leaders, that is truly when things will end.
